Where the Soul Dwells|Between Inner & Outer Landscapes
Where the Soul Dwells|Between Inner & Outer Landscapes
Date of exhibition: 2026 15 Apr.~2026 13 Jul.

About the Exhibition
《Where the Soul Dwells|Between Inner & Outer Landscapes》 derives from an inner transformation of memory and emotion tied to the artist’s homeland — the softest yet most profound pull within the heart.
Home is a traveler’s eternal longing and place of solace. In Jo-Yin’s memory, her homeland is veiled in mist.《In Walking Toward Clear Skies》, she senses the《Pink Sky at Dusk》; sparrows gathered on utility poles《Chorus a Melody of Distant Hills》. She observes the《Harvest》 of farming families, then lifts her gaze in《Stillness》toward《A Change in the Sky》, while the sparrows’ harmonized《Echo》ripples gently through her heart.

Creative Concept
As we grow older, fleeting moments often awaken childhood memories — along with the quiet joy they once held. Returning to the places that shaped me, the scent of soil, the presence of flowers, and the breath of mountains and sea gently draw me back to a homeland that remains tender within my heart.
Through landscapes and the vitality of nature, I transform memories of home into an inner language of emotion. Each work becomes a quiet sanctuary — a meeting place of heart and horizon, where the soul finds rest.

Her style moves between impressionism and abstraction, blending the vitality of nature with inner emotion to create poetic imagery. In her work, blooming flowers, mountains, sea, and earth become reflections of memory and states of mind, as she engages in a quiet dialogue with nature and invites us to reflect on the beauty of life.
